Recruitment Consultant, Preston offices £20,000 to £25,000 per annum depending on experience.

Community Life Choices is a growing company which specialises in care and support services to individuals with often complex needs.
We are looking to employ a Recruitment Consultant to head up our In-House recruitment and continue developing our business in line with our company growth objectives. .

The position of Recruitment Consultant will be responsible for the start-to-end of all recruitment. Due to the requirements of the role, the Recruitment Consultant will need to be highly self-sufficient, be able to organise their own time effectively, and also support the care managers when employing new employees.

This Recruitment Consultant position is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who wants to work in a fast paced environment where two days are never the same as the next.

The core duties and responsibilities will include (but by no means limited to):

  • Managing the quality and volume of new employees joining the company for the various social care vacancies.
  • Writing engaging advertisements, phone screening, creating shortlists, proactively searching for new employees, and follow all stages of the recruitment process.Building an effective network of candidates using various different methods including various online job boards.
  • Collating candidate stats and update the recruitment trackers on a daily basis on seeking employment references, processing DBS clearances and ensuring mandatory training is implemented.
  • Working effectively within the care management team, and wider organisation to devise the best recruitment strategies going forward and wanting to help the company with its growth plans into other service areas.
  • Creating new sales leads within the social care sector, developing and achieving the current business as part of the business strategy for expansion.

Essentially, we are looking for a proactive, self-sufficient, highly motivated recruiter with at least 2 years’ experience delivering first class recruitment. The ideal candidate will have the requisite knowledge and skills in their previous employment to transition straight into the role. You may even be a current experienced Recruitment Consultant who now wants to specialise and focus on the social care sector. Furthermore, have the confidence in their own ability to advise about the direction of recruitment required for the business as a whole.
