Community Life Choices are currently looking to grow their current team of Children Support Workers within the Warrington, Skelmersdale, Runcorn/Widnes and Leyland and Chorley areas.

Your role as a Children Support Worker will involve supporting children and young people who may have autism, ADHD, challenging behaviour, complex needs, limited mobility and limited communication.

Part time hours are available, working between 4 and 30 hours per week. There are many shifts available as we have different packages available so we can match these to the Support Worker.

We currently offer support as follows:
Term time – Monday to Friday from 3.15pm onwards and from 9am to 10pm at weekends.
School holidays – Monday to Sunday from 9am onwards.

We work very closely with each child and their families to provide person centred support so each young person can build on their self-confidence and life skills whilst accessing their local community with the support of the Children Support Worker. We also provide support to families and carers with respite support.

To be considered for these positions you will need to have at least 6 months experience of working with children and young people within a home setting and also in the community.

It is essential that you are a car driver and are able to offer commitment to this role. We provide training and development required on a continuous basis and offer a competitive hourly rate from £8.10 Monday to Friday, £9.00 at weekends plus holiday pay.

For an immediate interview please e-mail your CV to or if you require further information please call Solay Finley on 01772 804088.

All applications are subject to satisfactory references and a DBS Clearance.
